Visa

The visa for Benin is an authorisation to travel to Benin, which is required both to enter the country and to stay there.

The visa is issued in the form of an electronic e-visa. You can apply online on the official platform of the Beninese authorities.

Please note: the slightest error will be paid for in cash. If you make a mistake when entering your details (passport number, surname, first name) or if there is a problem with the date, the visa issued will not be valid, and you may be denied boarding. This is why we advise you against obtaining your Benin e-visa by yourself.

It is possible to obtain a letter of invitation from ECOMOF, which will make it easier for you to obtain your visa. However, it is essential to note that the embassy or consulate retains sole decision-making authority with regard to the granting of your visa, and remains your sole point of contact for any additional questions.

It is important to stress that the letter of invitation does NOT confer the right of access to the 4th ECOWAS Mining and Petroleum Forum (ECOMOF 2024). It is simply a support document for obtaining your visa from the Beninese embassy or consulate.
